Anna Pugh is an artist based in Nashville, TN and Boston, MA. Working primarily as a painter, her work returns continually to themes of unreliable memory, shadow, and ordinary phenomena.
Pugh is currently a graduate student with Boston University’s M.F.A. Painting program. Pugh received a B.A. in Studio Art with honors from Wake Forest University, with minors in Art History and Biology. Her work has been displayed in group and solo shows at locations including stART Gallery (NC), Open Gallery (TN), and WaveLength Space (TN). When she isn’t in Boston, you can probably find her back in Tennessee.
